Part Time Floral Designer

Large, full-service florist (sales > $2M annually) with 45 years serving the Roanoke Valley. We are seeking a talented and experienced Floral Designer to join our team at George's Flowers, a beloved local institution located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

As emotional transportation specialists, we craft meaningful connections through beautiful quality floral designs and compassionate customer service. We take pride on being an cutting edge, upscale, always busy, flower shop. And are currently seeking a part-time experienced Floral Designer to fill orders accurately while maintaining company COGS and Labor costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistent high standards in design, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the team on creative direction and shop growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Professional training and significant experience as a floral designer (3+ years preferred in a full-service shop).
• Strong leadership, training, and team development skills.
• Proficiency in a wide range of design styles for everyday, events, and photography.
• CFD or AIFD accreditation is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with seasonal peaks.
